Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio extended Poanglüm greetings to the people of Nagaland

Nagaland Governor R N Ravi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have extended Poanglüm greetings to the people of Nagaland especially to the Chang community. In a message, the Governor said the festival
marks the traditional celebrations of self-sufficiency by the community and heralds the beginning of cultivation process and seeks blessings for a bountiful harvest. He said this significant festival advocates unity and friendship. The Governor said the festival also aims at passing down the spiritual and cultural richness of the beautiful traditions of Changs to the posterity. Extending greetings to Chang Community, Chief Minister prayed for Almighty’s providence upon the community and hoped that the festival foster peace and unity.
